I’m along the way of remodeling the kitchen and bathrooms, and have been considering a bunch of different flooring choices. After weighing the pros and cons of the several materials available in my price range, I’ve went with glazed porcelain tile. There are just so several benefits to using this material that it will be kind of silly to select anything else.
The thing I prefer most about glazed porcelain tile is its sturdiness. I have a pretty big family, so I imagine there to be lots of traffic in the kitchen and bathrooms. It wouldn’t make much feeling to use a flooring material that would break down in just a few years. Glazed porcelain tile is incredibly durable, and will undoubtedly stand up to all the wear and tear that my kids will hand out. I know that I won’t be able to manage to redesign again anytime soon, so I require the current changes to last a long time.
Another reason I’m selecting glazed porcelain tile over other products is the wide range of styles and designs offered to me. Judging from all the different varieties showcased in the stacks of interior design catalogs I have on my desk, I can get glazed porcelain tile in any color in the sunshine. Moreover, the glazing process enables the advance of intricate patterns on all the tiles. This will make for a far more decorative floor or wall covering than the unglazed version, which is what I want. Perform and beauty is an unequalled combination in my book!
And finally, I like how easy it is to wash glazed porcelain tile. Because of the glazing, the tiles are basically nonporous. That means they are much more resistant against stains and are much easier to wash. I can simply employ the best bathroom cleaner and a damp sponge to get the tiles sparkling again. As somebody who absolutely hates housework, this is a main consideration.
